Are the books inside The Matrix real and if, how?

If the machine has you in it’s grips Neo, then why permit access to learned information–regarding the first scenes of the movie where Neo is passed out in front of the classic, black and green with a pile of books intentionally visualised by the cinematic cameras as they pan down and right of Neos gorgeous frame. How can you trust what you know given that as a pod you should not have access to satilite information? of collective volition upon the learning faculty, how could the greater host program have accidentally include well, the internet? A collection of reading material accessable to the eyes… Is Neo learning, or remembering? Are we learning, or remembering? When was the last time you read something that didn’t validate you?
