A good love story should be a thriller. A mystery going in and an assurance if it should last, a bus ticket if not. I had both bases covered. West Virginia was less than 1000 miles from Boston where I caught the bus south to meet Jimmy in Princeton just east of my last stop in Branson, MO.
An entire chapter of our upcoming Into The Dark manga will be devoted to my experience at Jimmy Lethal’s place.
The unfortunate circumstance was that Jimmy, a 30 year old living in his mom’s attic, would contributes little to the world of activities which surround him. Without inhibition, his tendency was to complain about the percieved inbalances in his life. A 40 hour a week security guard whose admitted duties consist of little more than harrassing elderly activists on behalf of the pipeline the uniform is sworn to protect. He is always appearently tired yet would demonstrate great sexual tenacity and stride. His perseverance would be his undoing…
After only three days he starts becoming overly assertive and assumes himself as controller making blatantly agro threats to be heard, to “listen to me listen to me now goddamn it!” Treating someone he is trying to date like his pet or child. Typical amoungst narccissists is this habit of grooming: a proccess by which the sociopath will pin prick by pinprick acclimate their victim to a future subjugate role.
What does one who forces himself upon his own cat have to say for his lovelife but virtually nonexistent. If kitty doesn’t want to play then insist or physically restrain… his mom reminding him to leave the cat alone and respect its free will… are echoes that come to surface.
