Of the many who chose not to wear their masks today in Waterville on this hot and humid late-Spring afternoon, we were met after a 5 block run with this, determined crowd. It was all over Facebook. We had just gotten the call in the middle of it. Masses moving down Elm st. Flocks of people of unprecedented sizes for any organized protest before it (assuming these aren’t spontaneous).

Organized protests are of the type that disperse as timely as they came on. This so happened to be your cause. You, the people of Waterville who spoke, so far peacefully, your minds today for a lap by the Concourse, a town whose African American population was 2.1% according to the Bureau which states:

…A university town with decent trails and a mostly Democratic population. A retirement town to say the least.
